God has given us the privilege to be stewards of His resources and to invest them joyfully and generously in those things that will give lasting and eternal returns. This stewardship is one of our highest acts of worship of our Creator God.
Invest in Ministry:
When giving to The Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake, there are several funds to which you can designate your offerings.
General Fund: This fund covers the budgeted expenses for our ministry needs. Some of the things included are programming for all ages, staff salaries, utilities, along with the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and grounds. Missionaries and mission organizations are also supported through this fund.
Benevolent Fund: This fund is used to help meet the needs of those within our congregation and from our McHenry County community. We take a 2nd offering to replenish the fund on the days we celebrate the Lord’s Supper.
Memorial Fund: This fund allows you to honor a loved one or friend. Your gift enables you to donate funds to our church in their memory.
Undesignated gifts automatically to into the General Fund. Giving to the Benevolent Fund, Building Fund or to support a short-term missions team must be designated.
