What is Child Dedication?

Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. It means you, as parents are partnering with God as you raise
your children.

What is a “Dedication Service?”

We celebrate child dedications as part of our Sunday morning worship services several times throughout the year. The Dedication Service provides you, the parent, with an opportunity to publicly dedicate your child back to the Lord while dedicating your parenting to God as well, promising to raise your son or daughter according to biblical standards.

Dedicate your child to the Lord:

Our next Child Dedication service will be Sunday, October 20, during both services.
If you would like to have your son or daughter dedicated, please sign up below; we will contact you as we begin planning the service.

You will also need to attend one of our Child Dedication classes:
• September 29, 9:00 am | Room 212
• October 6, 10:45 am | Room 125

By participating in this class, you are stepping forward to commit your children to the Lord, and you will also find out how we all as a congregation are committing ourselves to support you and disciple you in you commitment to keep Christ at the center of  your home:
