Local Schools

EFCCL is partnered with Hannah Beardsley Middle School (HBMS) and Prairie Ridge High School in Crystal Lake. We have been given an open door to love and serve the administration, teachers, students, and their families. Being intentional about building relationships with our neighbors gives us many opportunities to see lives changed through the gospel.

We’d love to have you get involved in local schools.

Disaster Relief

We strive to demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible and meaningful ways. Our goal is to respond compassionately to the needs of our community and neighboring areas, allowing our obedience to Christ to be evident through our actions. One of the key expressions of this commitment is the Disaster Relief Ministry.

This ministry mobilizes teams to respond to disasters occurring within a one-day driving distance, bringing both the gospel and practical assistance to those affected. Because disaster situations are unpredictable, team composition varies depending on availability.

EFCCL maintains an ongoing partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, an organization whose outstanding preparedness and logistical support enable us to serve effectively in disaster-affected areas. Through their leadership and coordination, our teams are able to provide meaningful aid while sharing the hope of Christ. By distributing Bibles, praying with homeowners, and connecting individuals with local churches, Samaritan’s Purse shares EFCCL’s mission to proclaim the gospel through both word and deed.

Disaster Relief Teams have served in locations such as New Orleans, St. Louis, and Milwaukee. Our work has included yard cleanup following tornadoes, drywall removal after flooding, sorting household goods, and other recovery efforts as directed. Additionally, there is an important need for volunteers who can provide spiritual and emotional support by engaging with homeowners while other team members work on site.
