As part of our Spiritual Milestone journey for parents and children, Children's Disciple-making will be hosting an introduction to communion, hands-on experience for parents and children to attend together.

Communion is mysterious, and a reverent time for both mourning and celebration. How do we express these feelings? How and when does our church celebrate communion? How do I know if my child is ready for communion?

Using Scripture as our foundation, we will examine the parts of the communion service and dive deeper into what it means to “Do This in Remembrance of Me.” Parents and children will have meaningful conversations about this important sacrament while answering these questions.
