OCTOBER IS PASTOR APPRECIATION MONTH!

We’re so glad our country designated this month to remind us of the need our pastors have for encouragement, because while we're very grateful for all they do, we can forget to be intentional about showing it. Pastor Jay, Pastor Doug, Pastor Tim, and Pastor Ron long to share the love of Jesus and the hope of the gospel to those they serve, and we're so blessed to have them all here at EFCCL!

Our pastors always appreciate notes of encouragement. Their mailboxes are in our Main Offices, just enter at our Canopy Entrance and turn right, and you'll see the office on your left. In case you'd like to do a bit extra, below are some of the ways you can bless them.

Pastor Jay and Becky Childs:

Pastor Jay and Becky love gift cards for date nights! They enjoy Red Mill Tavern in Woodstock; On the Border and Biaggi's in Algonquin; Jameson’s, Moontime Smokin' Que and Nick's Pizza & Pub in Crystal Lake. They also love gift cards to the Woodstock Cinema and Fresh Market.

Pastor Doug and Lisa Friesen:

Pastor Doug and Lisa love all restaurants, including Jameson’s, Chick-fil-A, McAllister’s Deli and Amuzgo Mexican Cuisine (in Algonquin). They would also appreciate gift certificates to Home Depot for DIY projects around their house.

Pastor Ron and Mystele Kirkeeng:

Pastor Ron and Mystele’s favorite places are Chen's, Outback, Amuzgo Mexican Cuisine (in Algonquin), Culver's and Menards. Those who prefer to give acts of service, please contact Pastor Ron to see what work needs to be done around their house.

Pastor Tim and Margie Bruns:

Pastor Tim and Margie enjoy spending time with people over coffee or a meal to get to know them better or gift cards to Walmart, Chick-fil-A and Mariano's.
